Ashton Memorial. WHAT a venue! I’ve always found myself looking up at this beautiful building when passing Lancaster on the M6. Always wondered, never ventured.

When Abby & Dan got in touch last year to say their wedding was to be held here, I was beyond excited. I finally got to visit this mystery building.

Ashton Memorial is a special place for Abby & Dan. For so long, Abby knew she wanted their wedding here. Their DREAM location, a place they visit time and time again. When you have a place that special, of course you must have your dream wedding here.

The Beast from the East tried it’s best but no amount of snow or cold air could ruin their day. It was a brisk (to put it politely, it was actually effing freezing) Saturday in March – the skies were clear and beautiful. Abby looked INCREDIBLE in her gown and embraced the cold weather like a boss. (I just L O V E brides who are willing to brace the cold for photographs!)

The entire day was just beautiful. The reception took place over at Beeston Manor, which Abby & Dan had decorated beautifully. Rustic, simple, romantic, personal. PERFECT.
