Farm weddings are HUGE recently! Whenever I see one I always have a bit of a swoon at how gorgeous they are; tweed jackets, hay bales, the yummy naked cakes… So imagine my absolute JOY when I was asked to photograph a REAL farm wedding.
After a beautiful ceremony at St Luke’s Church, a parish that is special to Sarah & Mark, we headed back to their gorgeous farm for their reception. Sarah’s eye for detail is spot on. Being big whisky lovers, their tables were named after each of the distilleries they’ve visited. The corresponding whisky bottle stood as a centrepiece, decorated with beautiful pheasant tail feathers & a selfie of the couple at each distillery. Everything was just incredible; from the bunting to the furniture – the attention to detail & balance of decor was simply perfect. They even set up their own farmer-style Photo Booth in the corner, which I’m sure was quite popular that evening!
The whole day was brilliant. Sarah & Mark were happy for me to just get snap happy and capture the fun & laughter of their day.
I loved being a small part of their wedding, they’re a fabulous couple & I can’t thank them enough for having me!
