A magnificent medieval banquet hall, Cadbury purple colour theme, awesome purple smoke grenades and confetti falling during the first dance…This wedding is just so magical.
I’ve been looking forward to Michelle & Sean‘s wedding since their beautiful engagement session back in March. They are such a wonderful, fun couple who had so many fun ideas for getting creative with their photographs. I love it when I can share ideas with couples, it means I can offer them something completely personal and unique.
Michelle and Sean got married in the medieval banqueting suite at Park Hall Hotel in Chorley, which is truly such a magnificent venue. They also had access to the private pub next door with the pool room and beautiful gardens, which made a great place for their guests to hang out during cocktail hour – we also took advantage of the pool table for some fun portrait shots, even if we did have to interrupt an intense pool tournament their friends had started – sorry about that, lads!
After the ceremony we got some amazing couple portraits done in the grounds near the front of the hotel. A particularly funny moment for us was when the best man, Chris, did the honours of running round around like crazy with the purple smoke grenades for us – Thanks Jackson! Couldn’t have done it without you 🙂 *thumbs up* Once the smoke had dispersed we headed round to the gorgeous lake/pond, which acted as a gorgeous backdrop for some more couples portraits.
Later on in the evening came the first dance and Michelle and Sean had decided to save their confetti shot for this moment. And i’m so glad they did – it was one of the most magical moments i’ve seen. Watching the confetti fall so elegantly while they danced to their song was so beautiful. I loved the fact that loads of couples also joined them towards the end, it has to be one of my most favourite moments at a wedding. Seeing couples dancing together, sharing this romantic moment with the newly weds, it’s such a beautiful moment.
Thank you so much Michelle & Sean for letting me be part of your big day. I had such an incredible day from start to finish and I wish you both an entire lifetime of happiness!

Into my lover’s arms
This much I know is true
That God blessed the broken road
That led me straight to you.”
