Lucy & Johnny’s Sandhole Oak Barn Wedding

Lucy and Johnny got hitched in June over at Sandhole Oak Barn, and what a day it was!

This wedding is even more special to me, as I’ve known groom Johnny’s sister since we were 5 years old.
His family is like an extended version of my family – so I was beyond thrilled when they asked me to photograph their day.

I first met bride Lucy in 2016 when I photographed their son Mason’s naming day. Since that first meeting, we just clicked instantly. Everything Lucy touches
turns to creative gold and she has an amazing eye for details — so I knew from then that their wedding would be incredible.

And I wasn’t disappointed! Every single detail at their day was curated by a specially selected team of INCREDIBLE vendors. Lucy knows her stuff,

One of my favourite parts of the day had to be their first dance. They started off swaying to A Thousand Years (in homage to Lucy’s favourite film) then suddenly jumped straight into Bonkers – cue the mad dancing! They then went straight into a silent rave – by far the coolest thing I’ve ever seen
during a wedding reception! Grab a headset, choose your channel and get your silent rave on! Just brilliant.

I can’t thank Lucy and Johnny enough for trusting me to capture their special day. It was perfect from start to finish.
