Hannah & Steven’s Festive Stanneylands Wedding

Ah, the Crimbo Limbo. You know it, that time between Christmas and New Year where time seems to stand still, you feel oddly fulfilled & tend to eat yourself into many a food coma. Well, last year I was lucky enough to spend this time at a gorgeous winter wedding instead!

Everything about their wedding was amazing. The crimson reds & the festive touches warmed up the winter day perfectly. Hannah & Steven are a wonderful couple, the first time I met them I knew their day would be nothing but beautiful.

The ceremony was held at St Joseph’s, a beautiful parish in Sale. I love church weddings at this time of year, the hymns are festive, nativity scenes are set up and christmas trees and fairy lights fill the room. And to make things even more special, the Priest who married them was Steven’s uncle!

After the ceremony we headed over to The Stanneylands, a gorgeous boutique hotel in the heart of Wilmslow. Later on in the evening we even managed to sneak a little sparkler exit into the festivities – because what’s a late December wedding without sparklers?!
